SHIPPING & SUCH

SHIPPING POLICY
We process orders within 3 business days of reception.  In exceptional cases, and seasonal rushes, it may take a little longer for your order to be delivered.  Parcels are shipped via Canada Post's Expedited delivery services.  Express delivery (faster) is available based on Canada Post's ongoing rate. 

Once a package leaves our facility, we have no control over its movement.  Each parcel has a $100 liability coverage and the tracking number will be sent to you if you have provided us with your email address on your order form.  

ORDER CANCELLATION
Unfortunately, once your order has been processed for shipping, we will not be able to offer a refund. If you have a change of mind after completing your order, please email us immediately.

DAMAGED ORDERS
We do our best to ensure your product is packed and delivered safely. On occasion, a box may arrive with signs of distress. Open the box in front of the courier before signing. If the product looks like it is damaged from shipping, do not accept it!  Take pictures of the box, items and label.  Return the item in its original box so we can assess the problem and put an insurance claim through. Please email or call us immediately to report the issue.  We will send you a replacement, or your money back promptly.  .

MISSING / INCORRECT ITEM
We do everything in our power to ensure orders are shipped as submitted.  Please verify your order as soon as you receive it, and contact us in the event something is missing, or incorrect.

EXCHANGES
Due to the nature of our products, all sales are final.  If for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please contact us within 10 days of purchase.  Your order number and a brief description of the issue will be required.  If we agree that we are responsible for a mistake, we will contact you with further details and provide you with a resolution.

RETURNS
No merchandise may be returned without prior discussion with Acadian Heart Soap Company. 
When returning products, shipping fees are the sole responsibility of the customer.

ALLERGENS
Allergens sensibilities are different for each individual.  We cannot guarantee that our products is appropriate for your allergies and sensibilities.  Our facilities uses nut butters and oils, botanicals of all sorts, essential oils and fragrances.   We recommend that you do a skin patch allergy test by washing (or applying the product) the inside of your forearm for a couple days.  If there is any irritation or redness, please discontinue use immediately.  
It is the customer's responsibility to read the ingredients list and / or contact us prior to placing an order if there are known allergies, or sensitivities.  Orders will not be refunded for allergy purposes.  
All our products are for external use only.  
Acadian Heart Soap Company will not be held responsible for personal injury resulting from ingesting or misuse of our products.
